We Need Pro Bono Legal Help in Colorado

Over the past few weeks, our movement to defend Colorado’s representation has grown faster than we imagined. What started as a handful of people discussing gerrymandering has already turned into something real: we filed an initial petition, connected with legislators, started spreading the word online, and even launched a donation page.

Our first version of the proposed amendment has officially been withdrawn from the Colorado Title Board process — you can see the public record of that here: Withdrawn Petition Link. Withdrawing was the right step, because it gave us the chance to regroup, strengthen the language, and prepare a more viable draft.

Now, the new version of the amendment is live, and you can read it here: Read the Current Bill.

In the meantime, supporters have already stepped up: donations are coming in through our ActBlue page, conversations are growing online, and momentum is building. This isn’t just talk anymore — it’s becoming a movement.

But to move forward effectively, we need help. Specifically:

👉 We are looking for a pro bono lawyer in Colorado who has experience with ballot initiatives and constitutional amendment processes.

The petition process is technical and highly regulated. Having legal guidance could make the difference between an idea that fades out and a measure that actually makes it onto the ballot.

📩 If you or someone you know can help, please email us directly at info@redistict.co.

You can also support the effort financially here: Donate via ActBlue. Every dollar helps us cover legal fees, outreach, and promotion.

We’ve seen proof already that Coloradans are ready for action. Now, with the right support, we can keep building this movement and protect fair representation for our state.
